Chartreuse Kitchen Floor

According to Wickipedia:  Chartreuse  is a color halfway between yellow and green that was named because of its resemblance to the green color of one of the French liqueurs called green chartreuse, introduced in 1764.

At any rate, Chartreuse is the color of my new Marmoleum flooring in the kitchen … the latest in our home improvement projects.  Lee’s only comment after installing it was “It looks like we are living in Whoville”, albeit spoken a bit on the dry, slightly-sarcastic side.  🙂  Thanks so much babe, it looks awesome and I truly am in love with it!
