Thunder Mountain and Heintzleman Ridge

Thunder Mountain and Heintzleman Ridge … does it get any more amazing than this?  The correct answer:  No.  My only possible description is that you have been plucked off of sea-level ground and deposited in the middle of a crazy topgraphical map with the contour lines of steap ridges and drop-offs surrounding you …  glacial icefields below you, lakes, streams, snowfields all around you, clear blue sky and bright sun shining from above.  You can see for miles … into Canada actually.

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.  May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.    –  Edward Abbey
